All our soaps are handmade by real people here in America. We use both Cold Process and Hot Process' to make our soaps.
What is cold process? - We use Cold process to make most of our soap. During this process the ingredients are added and blended without an external heat source. The way grandma made her soaps! Cold process allows more freedom to add all those wonderful fun colors and ingredients. Then we blend, and then blend some more, while adding in all all natural ingredients and colors. Next is waiting a minimum of 3 weeks for the Saponification "curing" process to be finished. But good things come to those who wait... Patience is a virtue.
What is hot process? - We use Hot Process for our soaps that tend to be a bit persnickety We use an external heat source to force the blend of the our ingredients into a gel phase. At this point, the soap is almost ready to be used. This is when we infuse those "persnickety ingredients like inetar or CBD. It is professional opinion that by infusing the Pinetar or CBD at the end of the saponification process that it does not lose any of it's potency. Allowing delivery of maximum benefits to each bar of soap.
